Jay Bhutani

Personal statement

Jay is an investor. For over 15 years he ran large global equity funds on behalf of institutional investors. Currently he invests primarily in the technology and energy transition sectors.

His career spans 30 years in finance as an analyst and sector specialist, with a special focus on emerging markets. Indian by background and American by nationality, Jay has lived and worked in New York, Singapore, and London.

Jay is Chair of Anthem, a multi-academy trust of over 8,500 students in 16 primary and secondary schools in the East Midlands, London, and the Thames Valley.
