Your Academic Advisor will be a member of the teaching team from your course and will be available to help and advise you throughout your studies at Bath Spa University.
If you're struggling with your studies, the Library has a number of resources that can help, including the Writing and Learning Centre, which offers appointments and drop-in sessions for support with referencing, assignments and more.

Attendance is a key part of how we measure your engagement so that we can make sure that you're able to make the most of your studies.
How do I register my attendance?
You need to use the My Bath Spa App to check into all your scheduled teaching sessions (including lectures, seminars and workshops) in order to register your attendance.
You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play store.

If you're having technical issues, you can get help from MyServices or drop into the Student Hub at Twiverton for support from our IT team.

If you are dealing with wellbeing issues, such as an eating disorder, it is essential you reach out for support. The Student Wellbeing Service has a range of 24/7 support services and resources available that you might find useful, as well as links to external support networks.
In the event of an emergency, call 999. Don’t be afraid to call 999, and don’t assume that someone else has already called. If you’re unsure whether it’s an emergency, it’s better to be safe than sorry. You should always call 999 if someone is seriously ill or injured, or their life is at risk. When you dial 999, an operator will ask you which service you require.
Call 111 for medical advice (it’s free from mobiles and landlines). This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also visit 111.nhs.uk.

BSU SVLO and GBV support: Our team of Sexual Violence Liaison Officers and Gender-Based Violence Caseworker have had specialist training to support and advise students who have experienced any form of sexual violence and/or abusive relationship.
