“Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction.”

Join MentorMe

There are two variations of our mentoring scheme - one that caters to current students, and one to recent graduates.

MentorMe

The first, MentorMe, is available to all undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, and has a broad and varied bank of mentors ready to offer their support to guide your ambitions.

The scheme will typically last for four to six months, and becomes available from November in the current academic year before closing to new applications in the February after.

To enjoy the benefits of MentorMe, register on MyCareer.

MentorMe Bitesize

The second, MentorMe Bitesize, is available for graduating students and graduates from the past two years. If you’d like the asset of a mentor to help you with entering the working world after leaving Bath Spa University, register on MyCareer.

The scheme will typically last for three months, and becomes available from the September after graduation before closing to new applications in mid-October.

When you register for either option, we'll ask you to create a profile which we'll use as the basis to present you with a choice of several helpful mentors. You'll be able to decide who would be the most suitable mentoring match.

Alongside the helpful mentor meetings, you'll also benefit from helpful online training materials and our mentoring handbook.

“A learning partnership, with a primary goal of mentee development.”

What comes after?

Once you’ve completed a scheme, you'll benefit from improved industry awareness and knowledge and have more contacts. Naturally, the Careers team will also have further support options if you would like them.
