Surrounded by beautiful Georgian architecture in a quaint part of the city, Bankside House is close to the Royal Crescent, Fashion Museum and Jane Austen Centre.
The building is just a ten minute walk from Sion Hill Campus, a 25-minute walk from Locksbrook Campus, and a ten-minute walk to the nearest U5 bus stop that will take you to Newton Park.
Bankside is our smallest residence with just 42 students. There are ten flats (four students to in each) and two self-contained studios.

Standard room with ensuite
Your spacious bedroom includes everything you need, including a single bed, desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a modern fitted en-suite shower. You’ll share toilet facilities with one other person in your flat.
You’ll also share a kitchen with three flatmates. It includes an oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and seating area.

Studio
Bankside House has two studio flats complete with kitchen facilities, study space and en-suite facilities, including a shower, wash basin and toilet.

Why Bankside House?
Bankside is conveniently located near Julian Road shops, including a supermarket and cafés. You can reach the city centre by foot in under 10 minutes.
Bath has excellent transport routes. Traveline runs the 700 bus service to Sion Hill from Bath city centre. This bus stops very close to Bankside House. If you want to venture further afield, you're not far from the main train and bus stations.
