The Wellbeing, Health and Cognition Research Cluster
Exploring the connections between mental and physical health, wellbeing and cognitive processes through interdisciplinary and impactful research.
What we do
The Wellbeing, Health and Cognition Research Cluster draws together the expertise of academics from the School of Sciences and related disciplines at Bath Spa University.
Our research focuses on the health and wellbeing of individuals, groups and populations, as well as influences of (and influences on) cognition. We aim to conduct interdisciplinary research that takes a creative approach to respond both globally and locally to societal challenges.
Our key areas of research include technology and wellbeing, health behaviours (including alcohol consumption, nutrition, and exercise), the role of multisensory perception on emotions and wider cognition, and help seeking after sexual assault.
