A decolonial and justice perspective on digitalised climate change adaptation

Project description

Digital Climate Futures is a 3-year research project (2023-2025) based at Lancaster University and Bath Spa University.

We are investigating how the digital is entering climate adaptation – a theme that is surprisingly underexplored and under-theorised.

To fill this gap, the project develops a novel theoretically driven and empirically grounded research programme that for the first time combines a justice angle on climate adaptation with decolonial approaches to the digital.
