Course: BA (Hons) Business and Management (Festivals and Events)
I am currently a Business and Management undergraduate on the Festivals and Events pathway. I am due to take my placement year next summer so I am currently actively applying for internship roles in the travel, hospitality, events, PR and Communication sectors.
At present, I work as a Student Ambassador for Bath Spa; this is a role that I really enjoy as I love talking to prospective students and being a friendly face for them to approach at Open Days. I also work at Snapdragons; a nursery for children from 0-12 years old in Weston. I have been working for them since my first year at university.
Outside of studying and working I enjoy a range of activities and have a very active social life as a result. I am currently a member of Bath Spa’s DJing society, Sublime. I also go to an Ariel Circus class at Bristol’s Circus University; Circomedia.
I’m also a huge fan of art and love exploring museums and exhibitions if given the opportunity. I was lucky enough to visit the Picasso and Warhol museum in Spain last summer which really inspired me creatively. These experiences inspire my studies, since Bath Spa is such a creative University.
Why did you choose the course you studied at Bath Spa?
I chose to study Business and Management with Festivals and Events at Bath Spa as it has given me the business head I need to make big decisions whilst also allowing me to study a sector of the industry I am really interested in.

The lectures! The vast experience in industry my lectures have has opened so many doors for me. As a result I have been lucky enough to network with some of their connections and partaken in work experience in a varitety of roles such as 'Artist Liaison' and 'Stage Manager' at some big festivals over my summer break.
