Why did you choose to study Graphic Communication at BSU?
I chose this course as it was a way to develop my illustration skills and broaden my scope to graphic design.
What were the highlights of your time here?
Working as a team on live client briefs, as we did with Bath Abbey, was a wonderful and rewarding experience.
Bath Spa also enabled me to take a semester abroad in Spain, which was a great way to meet other designers and learn different techniques.
How did the course support your steps into industry?
The course helped me develop my design-thinking and voice as a creative. I was able to meet industry professionals through networking opportunities, and made friends and connections with peers in the process.
What's the best thing about the Graphic Communication course?
The freedom to explore your own style and interests.
What are you most proud of?
During my time at Bath Spa I co-founded and was president of the Illustration Society, which has continued to be a wonderful community for people who love to draw.
What advice would you give to current students?
Make the most of your time as students, explore who you are personally and professionally. Experiment and try new things.
Make friends with as many people as you can, say yes to opportunities as they come, and step outside of your comfort zone.
Why would you recommend BSU to others?
The location is a great hub for creatives.
