Katrina's Bath Spa story

The MA Songwriting programme at Bath Spa University was one of the best decisions of my life and an absolute privilege.

I was welcomed into a community that fosters creativity, individuality, and self-development, while providing great opportunities to collaborate, record, and perform my work.

I’ve learned songwriting skills from world-class instructors and met talented peers, programme graduates, and industry professionals through performance activities, Music Think Tank, and the Songwriting Circle.

I take with me an original album that will be part of a professional portfolio, skills and knowledge to develop a successful career in songwriting, and an added bonus of an MA. I couldn’t recommend this programme more highly. It was fantastic!
