Personal statement

Silvia is a movement artist, dance movement psychotherapist, filmmaker, teacher in HE and researcher. She has been consolidating her practice and research in Somatics, embodiment, improvisation, relational practices (Ensemble and Contact Improvisation) and the dialogue with creative technologies, and is interested in how they can support or enhance human experiences.

Her current practice and interests are an overlaying of many Somatic practices, interested in relational aspects (self, others- human and non-humans) including technology and the environment and practices of care. She pursues trans-disciplinary collaborations and works across dance, therapy, film, research and creative technologies.
