Personal statement
Julian Jensen is an experienced choir trainer, vocal coach and singing teacher working in a variety of styles including classical, pop and musical theatre.
He has a particular interest in the application of elements of the Estill technique to genres beyond musical theatre and also the teaching of students with cambiato as well as transgender and gender non-specific voices.
Julian has created a large portfolio of bespoke arrangements which address these needs as well as those of other younger developing voices. He has led choirs to Gold Medal success in numerous festivals and competitions both in the UK and internationally, including Grado (Italy), Calleja (Spain) and winners of the National Choir of the Year Competition at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
