Jamie Bradbury
- Placements and Work-Based Learning Manager
- Department: Careers & Employability
Personal statement
Jamie oversees PWBL provision within the curriculum, implementing quality and equitable experiences for all students. This includes providing support and guidance for short term placements (such as the Work Placement and Summer Placement open modules) and he is the Module Leader for the University-wide Professional Placement Year.
He is also responsible for the provision of work experience outside of the curriculum, having introduced schemes including paid internships with local companies, a Placements Award providing funding for self-sourced opportunities, as well as live briefs/group projects and international opportunities and funds. These schemes are designed to make work experience as accessible as possible, whilst remaining flexible so they can be undertaken alongside studies.
