Personal Statement
I am the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost at Bath Spa University. In addition to acting as the deputy to the Vice-Chancellor, I am also the senior academic responsible for the size, shape and character of the university.
I lead a team of Pro-Vice-Chancellors and the Vice-Provost who oversee the delivery of the university strategy through the academic schools, academic planning, recruitment and marketing, registry, data and insights, educational partnerships, research and enterprise, and Bath Spa University London. I attend and report to the University Board of Governors together with the Vice-Chancellor.
Prior to this, I held roles such as Vice-Provost, founding Dean of Bath Business School, and Director of Southampton Solent Business School, where I was one of the first Professors of Business Education to be appointed in the UK.
