Personal statement
Chris Gerrard is a practitioner-theorist, focusing on how experimental aesthetics can be used to facilitate knowledge exchange and political change. Their work consists of written material examining historical art theory, as well as practical experiments in digital media that have been screened in both cinema and gallery environments.
At Bath Spa, they are programme leader on the Creative Media degree, and teach the modules Digital Practice, Advanced Digital Practice and Everyday Media Making.
They are also the co-leader of the Imaginaries and Infrastructure Research Group
