UCW and Bath Spa University celebrate 25-year partnership with new Memorandum of Understanding

University Centre Weston (UCW), the higher education arm of Weston College, and Bath Spa University proudly announce the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to reaffirm their long-standing partnership and commitment to collaborative excellence in higher education.

This MoU underscores the mutual desire of both institutions to continue working closely together and support each other in maintaining outstanding partnership activities. For 25 years, Bath Spa University and UCW have shared a proven working relationship, characterised by robust and successful collaborative agreements that have significantly benefited learners and the communities they serve.

In recognition of the effectiveness of this partnership and the quality of education delivered, Bath Spa University awarded Weston College the prestigious ‘University Centre’ status in 2007. With the agreement of the Department for Education and the support of Bath Spa University, Weston College rebranded its higher education arm as ‘University Centre Weston’ in 2016, marking a new era of growth and collaboration.
