BSU makes shortlist in National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2025
Monday, 3 March, 2025Bath Spa University is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for two awards in the TargetJobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2025.
These prestigious Awards are decided by nearly 100,000 individual votes exclusively from undergraduates, apprentices and school leavers and celebrate the outstanding achievements of employer and university early careers teams.
BSU has been recognised in two categories this year, both the Best University Employability Strategy Award and the Higher Education Careers and Employability Team of the Year Award.
Discussing what it means to receive these nominations, Laura Ingham, Head of Careers and Employability said:
“Being shortlisted for both of these awards is a fantastic recognition of the innovation, collaboration, and dedication demonstrated across BSU in supporting the career prospects of our students and graduates. This achievement not only highlights the dedicated efforts of the Careers and Employability Team but also the ongoing commitment to enabling our students to thrive in their future, which is being demonstrated throughout the wider BSU community.”
The Best University Employability Strategy Award celebrates the achievements of higher education institutions in equipping their students to achieve their potential in the job market.
The Employability and Graduate Outcomes Strategy at BSU focuses on preparing students for a changing world, enabling them to build the self-awareness, skills and professional experience needed to succeed and thrive in their future, no matter the career path they choose.
Also recognised in the category for the Higher Education Careers and Employability Team of the Year Award, BSU’s nomination demonstrates the significant impact the team has made over the last few years, demonstrating exceptional collaboration while navigating significant changes, including new leadership, strategic priorities, a major restructure and recruitment drive, while continuing to deliver transformative employability and enterprise activities to students and graduates.
The winning teams will be acknowledged alongside other Higher Education Providers and Graduate Recruiters at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on Thursday 10 April.
