Bath Spa University sponsors Bath Festival events
Thursday, 9 March, 2023For the fifth year, Bath Spa University is proud to be a creative partner of Bath’s annual festival. As a sponsor, the University will support Bath Festival to produce a lineup of incredible performances, events, and lectures.
Events will be held across the city, among the beautiful Georgian architecture. The festival is a celebration of music and literature, holding weight on both an international and local level, and aims to showcase the incredible effect the arts can have.
Together is better
As an official partner of Bath Festivals, Bath Spa University values the same creativity Bath Festival promotes. This year, the University will sponsor five events across the festival and over 100 students and staff will work as volunteers, on and off the stage in administration and performance.
This partnership brings engagement from communities of creatives, as well as employment opportunities for students.
Speaking about Bath Spa University’s creative partnership with Bath Festival, Naomi Box, Advancement and Civic Engagement Manager, said:
"Our long-established cultural partnership with the Bath Festival is so important to us. It creates numerous opportunities for our staff and students to be involved with such a highly regarded long-running literary and music event - from volunteering and work placements to co-creation of incredible unique events."
Our community
Bath Spa University is just one of the educational partners who get involved with the Festival’s initiative to support the city’s young people. With a focus on creative outlets, we work together to support the creative education of young people, finding creative, supportive solutions.
