BSU wins Best University Employability Strategy Award 2025

On Thursday 10 April 2025, Bath Spa University’s Careers and Employability team headed to London for TargetJobs' annual National Graduate Recruitment Awards, proudly taking home the prestigious award for Best University Employability Strategy 2025. 

Making the achievement all the more special, these Awards are decided by expert panels and nearly 100,000 individual votes exclusively from undergraduates, apprentices and school leavers.  

On the evening, an audience of over 1000 distinguished guests watched as 30 awards were presented at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, celebrating the outstanding achievements of employer and university early careers teams. The host of the awards was TV and Radio Presenter, Dermot O’Leary. 

The Best University Employability Strategy Award, sponsored by Clifford Chance, recognises the achievements of higher education institutions in equipping their students to achieve their potential in the job market. Something BSU takes great care in delivering to the highest standard. 

BSU’s Employability and Graduate Outcomes Strategy focuses on preparing students for a changing world, enabling them to build the self-awareness, skills and professional experience needed to succeed and thrive in their future, no matter the career path they choose. 

In a pool of exceptional institutions, BSU’s Careers and Employability team was proud to take to the stage and accept the award for Best University Employability and Graduate Outcomes Strategy. 

Discussing what it means to the team that have worked hard to shape and deliver the strategy, Laura Ingham, BSU Head of Careers and Employability said:

“I'm very proud that we've been recognised as leaders across the sector around employability, and this is a well-deserved acknowledgement of the work that happens across all of BSU to support our students to secure meaningful futures.”
