Part of the School of Education Research Seminar Series 2024-25.
About the seminar
In this seminar, Dr Yeh presents her recent work on the well-being cultivation practices of school leaders.
Her research identified the strategies employed by school leaders from diverse backgrounds and contexts as they navigated unprecedented global crises.
This qualitative study has revealed three key practices: building multi-faceted support networks, prioritising self-care and developing self-regulation skills. These addressed both psychological and practical needs thereby supporting school leaders' well-being and work performance.
The study outcomes fill a critical gap in the literature on school-related mental health and professional development.
