Publishing students shine at TEDxBristol

Bath Spa Publishing students were major contributors to the social media coverage of November’s TEDxBristol event Dare to Disrupt at Colston Hall.

Over 1,500 attendees enjoyed inspiring and enlightening talks from a wide range of speakers. Third-year Publishing students worked tirelessly across the two-day event, creating live multimedia coverage across social media channels.

This was a highly successful and provided students with excellent first-hand experience producing creative content for a leading international event series.

About Dare to Disrupt

Dare to Disrupt was a two day event organised by TEDx Bristol comprising of inspirational talks and workshops looking to instigate dialogue around the idea of disruption - or people whose ideas and actions are ripping up the rule book - a change making a global impact. 

Day one focused on the idea of "Disruptive Bodies, Disruptive Minds", and included such speakers as Martyn Ashton, Esther Crawley, Mena Fombo and Antonia Forster. 

Day two explored the idea of "Disruptive Innovation, Disruptive Planet" and included talks from Anna Starkey, Natalie Fee, and Bex Baxter.
