A collaborative exhibition by final year Contemporary Arts Practice students opens at SPACE Gallery in Bristol on Friday 23 February.

Jusefa Charlamow, Abigail Coombes, Megan Custons-Cole and Rachel Watson showcase their collaborative response to Stoney Littleton, a Neolithic long barrow nestled in the Somerset countryside - a place of ancestral origin, folklore and modern ambiguity.

Lithic TEK pertains to indigenous knowledge. The artists create new ways of seeing through place and totemic provenance, using this ancient cultural monument as a catalyst for creating a reactive multimedia contemporary art exhibition in direct response to place. They seek to answer the questions of where, why, and by whom Stoney Littleton was created and its relevance in our culture today.

The exhibition begins at SPACE gallery in Bristol on Friday 23 February (6-9pm) and continues until Sunday 25 February (12-6pm daily), before coming to Walcot Chapel in Bath on Friday 2 March (Private View 6-9pm, continues 10am - 4pm Saturday 3 March and 12 - 3pm Sunday).
