Tuesday 12 March, 2024 – Tuesday 12 March, 2024
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Part of the School of Education Research Seminar Series 2023-24.

About the seminar

Dr Georgia Niolaki, Bath Spa University, and Dr Aris Terzopoulos, Birmingham City University, present several projects completed while funded by Bath Spa HEQR seed funding (2021-2024) and knowledge exchange projects (Arts and Humanities Research Council, Impact Accelerator award 2023) that involved working with teachers and learners on increasing dyslexia awareness and supporting learners with dyslexia.

In this seminar they will introduce their bespoke spelling test, ‘SPA’, developed to identify literacy needs, as well as their book published in early 2024 that aims to support undergraduate and postgraduate students who wish to understand the needs of learners with SEN from psychological and inclusive perspectives.
