We're delighted to share that our Professor of Psychology and Science Communication, Pete Etchells, will be speaking at the War Games Live event at the Imperial War Museum in London.

This half-day festival is the UK's first of its kind and will explore the phenomenon of war video games through talks, discussions, immersive installations and more. Student tickets are £25. 

Pete's research looks at the behavioural and mental wellbeing effects of playing video games. He is the author of Lost in a Good Game: Why We Play Video Games and What They Can Do For Us, published in 2019 by Icon Books.

His forthcoming book, Screens Are Not Your Enemy will be published by Piatkus in 2024, and investigates the science behind our relationship with digital technology.
