- Academic Search Premier this service offers the full text of over 4,700 journals in all academic subjects. In addition, the contents of another 12,000 journals are indexed, many including abstracts
- Box of Broadcasts - BoB: the British Universities Film & Video Council's on-demand TV and radio service for education. This service allows students and staff to view, record, create clips and share broadcast programmes from over 60 TV and radio channels

- Kanopy This streaming database contains a wide variety of films and documentaries, grouped by topic. Click on 'Browse' and check out the 'Criminology' section
- Oxford Bibliographies - Criminology This database combines the best features of an annotated bibliography and a high-level encyclopedia to guide researchers to best available resources across a wide variety of topics. It is great first port of call when starting a new subject
- Oxford Handbooks Online in Criminology and Criminal Justice This is a great collection of ebooks; when searching make sure you use the lower search box on the left-hand side to stay in the Criminology subject area
- ScienceDirect provides the full text of some 1,600 journals, these journals are generally available from 2008 onwards
