How to book the sensory study room
The sensory study room is available
- During regular Library term-time hours (8am-10pm, Mon - Sun)
- Bookable online for two hours each day
- For same-day bookings, check at the Library Reception
You can choose from quiet locations within the Library with easy access to browse the book shelves, spaces with PCs, or spaces with tables and power where you can use your own device.
To guarantee a study space in the Library, please book a room or a seat using our booking system.
If you're looking for a comfortable place to read or just some quiet reflection, walk-in spaces include some more informal seating (armchairs, sofas and pods).

You can book slots of any duration, within the library's opening hours.
The Library is open seven days a week in semester, from 8am to 10pm.
During the winter and summer vacations, the library is open from 9am to 5pm. During the spring vacation, the library is open from 8am to 5pm.
Study seat booking can be made up to two weeks in advance.
Yes.
Walk-in spaces are available throughout the building, but spaces can also be booked in advance, or on the day.
