We're celebrating the achievements of our teaching alumni and offering all eligible individuals the opportunity to receive an Honorary BA Education Degree.
Bath Spa University is made up of three predecessor institutions; Bath Academy of Art, Bath College of Domestic Science, and Newton Park Teacher Training College - each of them tied together through the training of teachers, many of whom were awarded a Certificate in Education.
To celebrate the achievements of our teaching alumni we're offering all eligible individuals the opportunity to receive an Honorary Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Education, in recognition of the academic rigour demanded by the Certificate in Education and for subsequent services to education.
“This initiative is a celebration of Bath Spa University, the colleges that came before, and all the lives it has touched. The Honorary Degrees will hopefully help us highlight and feature some of these amazing people, their careers and the impact they have made throughout their career on their communities.
Kyriaki Anagnostopoulou, Head of the School of Education
