Bath Spa University has been a partner of Santander Universities since 2014.
The partnership offers students and staff a series of academic and employability opportunities funded by the bank. These include:
Mobility scholarships for staff and students of the University to study or conduct research overseas
Support for enterprise and entrepreneurial initiatives/projects
Part-funded internships opportunities with local SMEs
Through its Santander Universities Global Division, Santander has supported higher education in the UK since 2007, providing funding for scholarships, mobility awards and research grants with the aim of supporting students and academic staff.
Santander renews partnership with Bath Spa University
Santander Universities has renewed its partnership with Bath Spa University for a further three years, to continue to provide annual funding for students and graduates.
The partnership will provide scholarship and award opportunities to support education, entrepreneurship and employability activities. Bath Spa University Vice-Chancellor Professor Sue Rigby and Matt Hutnell, Director Santander Universities UK, held an online ceremony on 22 September 2020 to mark the renewal of the agreement.
As a result of this ongoing partnership, the University will continue to help more students to enrich their learning experiences and further enable graduates to achieve their aspirations.
