Bath Spa University Open Days

Our Open Days give you and your student the chance to explore what the Bath Spa community has to offer.

Join us at our next undergraduate Open Day on Saturday 8 June 2024.

Professional Placement Year

Your student can apply through UCAS for a four year course which includes a Professional Placement Year (PPY) – sometimes known as a 'sandwich year'.

• All undergraduate students can take a PPY between their second and third year, working a minimum of 900 hours for a professional organisation.
• Placements are self-sourced but your student will have access to a high level of support during their first and second year, including workshops, 1-to-1 appointments and timetabled support.
• A Professional Placement Year can make a big difference to your student's CV, their networking opportunities, their skillset and their future career.
