About in-person enrolment

Are you required to attend an in-person enrolment session?

Once you have successfully completed online registration, as a final step you may be required to enrol in-person. The section below outlines which students are required to attend an in-person enrolment session, and when and where it will take place.

At your in-person enrolment session, we will check to ensure that you have completed all steps in the online registration process, and we will verify your identity and nationality.

What do you need to bring?

  • All students: Please bring proof of identification (government-issued photo identification preferred, e.g. passport or driving license).

  • International students: You are additionally required to provide evidence of your right to study in the UK. You'll need to bring your passport, visa/BRP, and if you are studying on a Tier 4 visa, any additional documents specified on your CAS. If you are unsure of what to bring, please contact visacompliance@bathspa.ac.uk.

  • PGCE and Teacher Training students: The Admissions team or your course team will be in touch regarding any additional checks or documents that need to be in hand for your in-person registration session.

Picking up your student ID card

  • New students: If you've completed online registration well in advance of your course start date, you should be able to pick up your student ID card at your in-person enrolment session or course induction session.

  • Offsite students: If you're a part time student, distance learner, on a placement or exchange programme, or if your course is not taught at Newton Park campus, it's possible to get your student ID card remotely. Please email mycourse@bathspa.ac.uk for details, quoting your six-digit student ID number.

  • Returning students: If your card has been lost, stolen, or damaged, please see the Student Information Desk pages on The Hub for how to get a replacement card (login required).
