As you arrive on the Newton Park campus you’ll pass the striking Commons building. Opened in 2014, Commons is the campus' main teaching building. It has superb teaching facilities, social spaces, and specialist digital resources.

Commons is at the core of our Newton Park campus. Alive with students and staff, it’s a stimulating, dynamic, and enjoyable study environment.

The building reaches three storeys high and, thanks to impressive glass walls, when you enter the Atrium you’ll be able to see Newton Park’s beautiful countryside from both sides.

When you explore Commons you’ll find lecture halls, seminar rooms, study spaces, a cafe, TV studios, and computer rooms. On the top floor there are also some staff offices, where some tutorials are held.

Need help?

If you’re ever lost, need information, or advice, then the friendly staff at our Student Information Desk are your first point of call. The desk is situated on the ground floor in the Atrium.
